COLUMBIA, Ky. – The Lindsey Wilson men's and women's track and field programs added a total of 12 student-athletes for the upcoming 2014-15 season, head coach Jamaine Gordon announced on Thursday.

The 4x400m Relay to some the most exciting race of the meet, a championship on the line and all the cards are on this one race. Below are the 2013 400m times scored together like an XC race with only four scorers per team. The links below will show who the top 4x400 possibilities based on the open 400.
The Class AAA State Champs suffered major losses in the sprints with Treyvon Johnson, Vince Dobbins, Bryce Meers, and Kirk Oxendine all gone. Hurdler Dante Johnson is one of the best in the state and their distance crew is solid with Marcus Terrell, Tyler Breeds, and Robert Rupp. Look at who North Hardin Boys have back in each event.

North Hardin's girls will defend their Class AAA team title with the top runner in the state back for action. Sophomore Kianna Gray tore up the state last year with three state titles (100m, 200m, 100, Hurdles) and ending with a KY All-Time #1 200m Dash of 24.26 over the summer at AAU Junior Olympics. Gone are Tamara Jenkins (State 100m Runner-Up), Chanel Roberts (State Shot Put Champ), and Khadijha Gray (3 Relays), so there are points to find. Kentucky Athletes of the Year
Brandon Ignas is a 2013 North Hardin graduate. He finished his senior year up with a regional championship in the 3200m Run and helping to lead his team to the Class AAA State Team title.
Taking all the performances from the Kentucky State Track Meet and place them all in one meet, this is what you get. Yes, I realize they did not run at the same time, competition, or in the same conditions but you get the idea of what it would look like.
The last set of KYtrackXC.com State Track Rankings are out with North Hardin Boys and Girls still holding onto #1 in Class AAA, Central has both #1 squads in Class AA, and Class A is split with St. Henry leading the girls along with Fort Campbell on the boys side.

Who is "Going for the Win" and in the "Team Hunt "?
The lights at the Elizabethtown Sports Park kept playing tricks on Marcus Terrell. One second, the North Hardin junior thought Grayson County sophomore Bret Crawford was right on his tail. Another, Terrell thought Crawford had fallen off the pace. After running neck-and-neck for the first 2 miles Saturday night, Terrell began pulling away from Crawford and won the 69-runner Central Kentucky Run for the Gold in 16 minutes, 35.01 seconds. Crawford finished 5 seconds back in 16:41.72. (via www.thenewsenterprise.com)

Movers and Shakers of Week 3
KYtrackXC.com will be Live On-Site for the Purple Strider Invitational. This meet is typically held in what feels like the blazing heat, but not this year (high is suppose to be 77.)
The final meet of the weekend does not start until Saturday night. The annual Raider Twilight Run hosted by Warren East in Bowling Green has a combination of teams that are looking to make a name for themselves.

The students’ attire said everything about what the day ahead would be like for them. They wore their Trojan blue caps and gowns, ready to walk the line, but underneath, instead of dresses and ties, they had on track uniforms and warm-up gear. Graduation was just the beginning of their day. (via )

Three North Hardin athletes have signed to compete at Campbellsville University next year. Kevin Walker, Dominique Jenkins, and Janaiqua Horne all signed on dotted line last week.
Stewart, a senior at North Hardin has committed to run at the University of Louisville next year.

In an effort to honor the top track and field performers from Kentucky, KYtrackXC.com will have a weekly set of Athletes of the Week. There will be Middle School, High School, and College awardees. Former Kentucky High School Track and Field athletes currently running in college are eligible for the College award, even if he or she attends a school out-of-state. This week, KYtrackXC.com honors Athletes of the Week for each High School Class since the competition Saturday at the Mason-Dixon Games was broken up into classes.

The Tom McDowell Cross-Country Invitational, hosted by Campbellsville University, will be held on Saturday, August 1st in Greensburg, KY. The first year meet will feature both a high school and college division.
