Projected State Meet Qualification Times

Beginning with the 2009 outdoor track season, a new qualification process has been implemented by the KHSAA in order to determine eligibility for the KHSAA Kentucky State Track Meet. In previous years, the top two performances automatically qualified for the State Track Meet, along with the next four best times/marks from all the regional performances. This year, the top two performances in each event qualify, along with the next TEN best performances. What this means is that with the seven regions in the state, 24 total athletes will qualify in each event.
KYtrackXC.com, in collaboration with coaches throughout the state, has created projections for the cut-off time/mark for the tenth spot for each gender and class. These times/marks were determined by thorough research of the past few years of regional performances. Please keep in mind the following are strictly projections. The following are not automatic qualifying standards. The following do not take into account the depth of the events for the current 2009 season. The following are NOT based on times from the current season but rather previous seasons.
