Senior Send-Off: Garrison Burchell, North Laurel Jonathan Grooms Jul 09, 2013

Garrison Burchell is a 2013 North Laurel graduate.  He was a two time state qualifier in Track and Field in the 4x800 relay and a three time state qualifier in Cross Country. 

Senior Send-Off: Thomas Cave, St. Xavier Jonathan Grooms Jul 08, 2013

Thomas Cave is a 2013 St. Xavier graduate.  He was part of two 3200m Relay State Championships and was a member of the 2012 Class AAA Cross Country State Champions as well as Nike Cross Southeast Regional Champions.  He will continue his career at the University of Louisville this fall.

Bryant Qualls is a senior at Mercer County High School in Harrodsburg.  He was a member of the winning Class AA 3200m Relay Team.

Zac Garrard is a 2013 Owensboro graduate.  He finished off his high school career with two regional titles and a 3rd place finish in the 800m at the Kentucky State Track Meet.

Josh Price is a 2013 Central Hardin graduate.  He was 5th overall at the 2012 Regional 2 AAA Championship last fall.

Dvontre Coleman is a 2013 Martha Layne Collins graduate.  He will continue his running career at Thomas More College in the fall.

Michael Price is a 2013 Central Hardin graduate.  He was 12th overall in the 1600m at the Class AAA State Track Meet in May. 

Senior Send-Off: Cory Heslin, Eastern Jonathan Grooms Jun 13, 2013

Cory Heslin just graduated from Eastern High School in Louisville.  He was 8th overall in the 1600m at the Class AAA Kentucky State Track Meet this fall May.  This past fall he was the #1 runner for Eastern leading them to a 6th place team finish at the Class AAA Cross Country State Championship.  He will continue running next year at the University of the Cumberlands.

Brandon Ignas is a 2013 North Hardin graduate.  He finished his senior year up with a regional championship in the 3200m Run and helping to lead his team to the Class AAA State Team title. 

Senior Send-Off: Alisha Adair, Western Hills Jonathan Grooms Jun 09, 2013

Alisha Adair is a 2013 Western Hills graduate.  She is a 8-time Class AA State Champion ranging from 100m - 400m.  She led her team to the Class AA State Team Championship in 2012 winning three individuals events and anchoring the 4x400m Relay in a Class AA record breaking time.  She will join the Wildcats at the University of Kentucky next year. 

Senior Send-Off: Sam Lewis, St. Xavier Jonathan Grooms Jun 09, 2013

Sam Lewis is a 2013 St. Xavier High School graduate.  He was the Class AAA XC Runner-Up in 2011 helping St. Xavier to the Class AAA team crown his junior year.  In 2012, he was the #1 runner for the Tigers at Nike Cross Nationals finishing 16th overall.  He also helped lead to a 2nd straight Class AAA Kentucky State XC crown.

Senior Send-Off: Taylor Webb, Shelby County Jonathan Grooms Jun 07, 2013

Taylor Webb is a 2013 Shelby County High School graduate.  She battled back from injuries to return to racing in April 2013 after one year out.  Before her hip injury, she was 5th at the 2011 Kentucky State Cross Country Meet her sophomore year.  She will continue her career next year at Bellarmine University.

Senior Send-Off: Luke Cummins, North Oldham Jonathan Grooms Jun 07, 2013

Luke Cummins is a 2013 North Oldham graduate.  He ran two years of cross country and track in high school ending his career with a 12th place finish in the 3200m at the Class AA State Championship in May.  He was the 3rd scorer on the 2012 Class AA State Championship Cross Country team for North Oldham as well.

Dear coaches & athletes,once again we are doing our Senior Send-Off Series. We started this last year and received great feedback. It's kind of like "Senior farewells". We wanted to feature a bunch of them over the next coming weeks before the athletes head off to college and give some athletes a chance to share their story and experiences.
