What was your most memorable race/event?

The most memorable race's would have to be Trinity Invitational where I finally got a top ten time for North (16:47).  My second most memorable race would be the state 3200m Run where I pr'd for the third race in a row.

Who would you consider your biggest competition over your four years?

My junior and senior year were really all about; who can we compete with? So everyone was/are competition.

What was your greatest accomplishment?

Winning another state championship is always a good way to go out. When we were at the horse park and all crossed the finish line we were kind of scared we lost it that day, only to find that we set the state record for largest margin of victory.

If you could do it all over again what would you change about your running career in high school? I really wish I would have joined freshman year instead of waiting until junior year. I feel like I could have had big accomplishments in the end.

What were the most difficult obstacles you had to overcome?

The few little injuries along the way messed up my indoor season.

What will you miss the most?

Definitely my teammates and the dynasty we have created over the past 5 years.  They are going to have some killer potential next year and I'm excited to see them compete. Look out for those guys next year they are going to do some damage.

What advice you would give to younger athletes?

Don't take anything for granted. Always look ahead to your next race because you never know how many more races you have.

What influence has your coaches had with respect to your performance and overall life goals?

St.Louis: such a big influence on me this year and last year track season. I remember I went up to Ohio for an indoor meet and he went up to come coach me. I forgot my trainers and had to warm up in my spikes. Ended up running 5:30 for a mile, my first race and he seemed pleased because I had more potential that year. It was just great to know that he always was going to be their for me. He's made sure I was always on track to do great things.

Drew LaMaster: I only had Drew for one season and the was XC my junior year. He always looked out for me. Made sure I was working hard every day, I remember him pulling us aside before every race and would ask us what our goals were for each race. He made sure I was where I needed to be that entire season. Also loved that he came to all the XC practices last fall and worked out with us. He was always pushing us.

What are your plans for college or joining the workforce next year?

UofL next year trying to go for cardiology, I have been talking to coach walker for a month or two about a possible walk-on spot, hopefully that all works out.

Who would you like to say thank you to?

I would like to say thank you to all my teammates the past 2 years. I know I wouldn't be anywhere without any of them. Thank you to Coach St. Louis and Coach Drew.

Is there anything else you'd like to add?
