ELEMENTARY STATE CHAMPIONSHIPS

10:00 AM Events 4x800 relay(12&Under only), 100, 1600, 4x100 Relay(8&Under, 10&Under, 12&Under),

400, 800, 200, 4x400 Relay(8&Under, 10&Under, 12&Under), long jump,

shot put (6#)(9-10& 11-12), shot put (2Kg, 8 & Under), Turbojav(300 grams)

Gates will not open on meet day until 8:30 AM.

You will be able to put up team tents in the area behind the concession stand.
Field events will be open pit    All throws and jumps must be completed in the allotted time.  Make sure athletes in multiple events get back and forth.

Athletes will contest based on age divisions. Age divisions are 8 & Under, 9-10, and 11-12. Ages are based on age on December 31, 2021. In other words a ten year old whose birthday is in September will be competing with the 11-12 age group.

Relays are based on 12 & Under, 10 & Under, and 8 & Under ages.

Entry fee: $100.00 per team (girls and boys are separate teams, one or thirty individuals is a team) Only one team per school. You may enter as many athletes as you want in each event. Coaches must be current 2020-2021 KTCCCA members. ($50 membership dues) (Applications on the KTCCCA website www.ktccca.org)Fill out the Google Membership form online.

You will be emailed an invoice.   Mail check to  KTCCCA  1106 Sycamore St  Falmouth, Ky 41040.  

One individual will score per event, one relay team per age group per event, however, you can enter multiple entries in each event.  Boys & girls are separate events.

ATHLETES MUST REPRESENT THE SCHOOL THEY ATTEND FOR CHAMPIONSHIP CONSIDERATION.

       The KTCCCA Elementary State Championship and the KTCCCA Middle

School State Championship were to get a true school champion as a team as well

as individual events. Due to limitations in track and field in some school systems, this year and this year alone, the KTCCCA will allow unattached and club athletes to compete on the day of the state championships.  Unttached and club athletes who enter must be members of USA Track & Field.  Memberships can be purchased online at USATF.org    https://usatf.sport80.com/register/membership?id_add_on=941     Entry fee is $15.00 per event.  In the middle school state championship, athletes entered must meet the minimum standards posted on the kymilesplit webpage.  In the elementary state championship, there are no minimum standards.  Unattached and club athletes will not be eligible for awards or place ranking in the final results.  There will be no unattached or club relays allowed.

RUNNERS. ATHLETES CANNOT RUN FOR A SCHOOL THEY DO NOT ATTEND. Limit of three events per athlete.

Entry deadline May 25. Admission charge: $10.00  Pre-school free.    Medals to the top three in each event in each age group.

Team champion and runner-up trophies all age groups combined.

Scoring will be 10-8-6-4-2-1 in each age group in each event.

NOTE: This meet will not be affiliated with the Kentucky USATF Junior Olympics Meet.   The Junior Olympics meet will be June 19 .

Coaches do not have to input performances.    Milesplit will automatically input the athletes best reported performances. Mail entry fees to KTCCCA  c/o Tim King 1106 Sycamore St   Falmouth Ky 41040 $25 late fee per team(boys and girls separate teams-That would be $125.00 for girls team, $125.00 for boys team for late entry or late entry fee) after May 25.

(Late refers to entries AND fees.) Make checks payable to KTCCCA.   List all athletes who could possibly compete by entering as alternates on the relays. Athletes added to a team roster on meet day will be charged $10.   

Athletes will wear bib numbers.   Uniform Rule for Today: Relay teams must have similar jerseys.
