ATLANTA, Ga. - The SAA released the men's and women's cross country Runners of the Week for events raced this past weekend and, following voting by the league head coaches, Berry's Kyle Harris won for the men while Centre's Marisa Moore took the women's honor.

ATLANTA, Ga. - The SAA announced the women's track and field Athletes of the Week and, after voting by the league head coaches, Centre's Ashley El Rady won the track award while Millsaps' Jenna Johnson collected the field honor.

HUNTSVILLE, Alabama - The Centre women's cross country team collected their third straight SAA title on Saturday morning at Sharon Johnston Park by edging Rhodes in a tight Championship race. The Centre men's cross country team won its third consecutive conference championship on Saturday morning, finishing first in Saturday's SAA Championship meet in Birmingham, Ala. with a total of 26 points.

The Southern Athletic Association released its weekly cross country awards for meets held through Oct. 19th and Centre's Nathan Riggs was named SAA Men's Runner of the Week.  

Centre cross country senior Ashley El Rady (Louisville, Ky.) has been named Women's Runner of the Week by the Southern Athletic Association for meets held through Oct. 19th.

The Southern Athletic Association released its track and field postseason awards earlier today, voted on by the league's coaches, and Centre's Hannah Ellis (Crestwood, Ky.) was named Women's Track Athlete of the Year after an outstanding junior season.

Two former Kentucky high school track athletes have been named to the US Olympic Bobsled National Team for the 2014 Sochi Olympics.

The SAA released the cross country Runners of the Week for events raced September 30 - October 1 and Ryan James of Berry claimed the men's honor while Hannah Ellis of Centre won the women's award.

Ashley El Rady of the Centre women's cross country team was named Female Runner of the Week by the Southern Athletic Association for events held through September 7th.
