High School Boys – Brad Sikes (Daviess County)

Sikes, a senior, won the Apollo Invitational with a season best time of 17:07 Saturday.  No longer hindered by a summer injury, this performance lived up to what was expected from him this season.

 

High School Girls – Aleja Grant (Paducah Tilghman)

Grant, a freshman, won the Christian County Invitational running sub-19 for the first time in her career.  She crossed the line with an 18:57 to win by over one minute in the process.

 

Middle School Boys – Cole Dowdy (East Oldham Middle School)

Dowdy, an 8th grader at East Oldham won the DeSales Invitational with a time of 13:44.  This was his second victory of the season.

 

Middle School Girls – Rhyne Howard (Christian County)

Howard, a 6th grader at Christian County won the Middle School Girls race at her home invitational.  She crossed the line with a 16:38 to win by 25 seconds.
