The Cross Country Coaches Youth National Championship will be held on December 1, 2007. This first year event is being hosted by the Kentucky Track and Cross Country Coaches Association at Masterson Station Park in Lexington, Kentucky.

Bowling Green, Ky. — The Western Kentucky University women's cross country team successfully defended their home course Saturday, as they captured the 13th Sun Belt Conference Cross Country title in school history at Kereiakes Park. This year's title marked the second in a row for the Lady Toppers, and the sixth straight for the women'sprogram, as they have won every Sun Belt meet since the 2006 indoortrack and field championships.
St. Xavier grad Bobby Curtis wins Big East Conference Individual Championship for Villanova. Louisville Men win the team title, putting four in the top 10 including Greenwood grad Michael Eaton (10th).

The Kentucky Track & Cross Country Association is proud to announce it will be hosting the inaugural Cross Country Coaches National Youth Championships at Masterson Station Park in Lexington, Kentucky, Saturday, December 1.
#1 Ranked Assumption finishes 3rd in the Race of Champions at the Great American XC Festival.
The Volunteer Indoor Track Classic will change both its name and its location for 2008. The indoor track meet which was part of the Knoxville Track Club's Volunteer Series of events will change its name to the KTC High School Indoor Track Classic and will be held at East Tennessee State University's mini-dome in conjunction with the Niswonger Collegiate Invitational Meet. The new meet date will be January 18-19, 2008.
Entry List for the Lexington Catholic Invitational to be held this Saturday at the new Kentucky Horse Park course. The Varstiy races have been split into Large School and Class A/AA for the boys and girls. There will also be boys and girls JV races and a boys freshmen race.

This interview is with Greenwood sophomore Ryan Eaton after his victory at the Marshall County Invitational on October 6, 2007. Eaton answers questions about his upcoming races and about following in his footsteps of his brother Michael, former Greenwood star, currently running for the University of Louisville.
Sophomore's Ryan Eaton (Greenwood) and James Maglasang (St. Mary) battled it out Saturday at Marshall County High School with Eaton crossing the line first. Greenwood wins the boys title, while the girls of Graves County won the team title in the other varsity race.

NCAA Division I Track and Field/Cross Country Coaches, Please be advised that by action of the Collegiate Commissioners Association, the early signing period in the sports of track and field/cross country has been eliminated, effective immediately. As such, prospective student-athletes in these sports will no longer be permitted to sign National Letters of Intent during the early signing period, established as November 14-21, 2007 for the current academic year. Instead, these prospects will only be permitted to sign an NLI from February 6, 200 8, to August 1, 2008, which coincides with the signing opportunities currently available for field hockey, soccer and men's water polo.
