Senior Send-off: Paul Dunbar's Bart Denham Jonathan Grooms Jun 30, 2012

Bart Denham graduated from Paul Dunbar High School in Lexington where he was the 1600m Run Champion at the Fayette County Championship.  He also came back strong from a bout of being sick that knocked him out his junior year. 

Senior Send-off: Owensboro Catholic's Jordan White Jonathan Grooms Jun 29, 2012

 

Jordan White just finished up his throwing career at Owensboro Catholic High School.  He capped off his senior year with a Class A State title in the Discus.

Jeremy Glass ended his career with a bang throwing a personal best of 55-04.50 to win the Class A State Shot Put title in May. 

Senior Send-off: St. Henry's Lindsey Hinken Jonathan Grooms Jun 27, 2012

 

Lindsey Hinken helped lead St. Henry to three cross country state team titles and one track title while in high school.  Individually she was the Class A Runner-Up this past fall in Cross Country and placed second overall in the 3200m Run this spring.

Senior Send-off: John Hardin's Katie Lever Jonathan Grooms Jun 26, 2012

 

Katie Lever just graduated from John Hardin High School.  She was an all-state runner finishing 6th this past fall in Class AAA at the Kentucky State Cross Country Meet.  She also had the second best time statewide in the 3200m Run this spring with an 11:09.22.

Senior Send-off: Collegiate's Sarah Bode Jonathan Grooms Jun 25, 2012

 

Sarah Bode just finished her senior year at Collegiate High School in Louisville.  Over the last few years she has been one of the best distance runners in Class A including a 4th place finish last fall in the Cross Country State Meet and a 3rd place finish in May in the 3200m Run.

Cody Parks just finished up his senior year at East Jessamine High School.  He capped off his career with a state title winning the Class AA 3200m Run in his very last high school race.

Senior Send-off: St. Xavier's Vincent Stephen Jonathan Grooms Jun 22, 2012

 

Vincent Stephen just finished his senior year at St. Xavier High School where he was a member of the Class AAA winning 4x800 Meter Relay team which also happened to break the overall state record with a 7:52.18.  Last fall he was a member of the Class AAA State Cross Country Team Champions in which he earned Class AAA Honorable Mention All-State individually.

Allen Matthews just finished his career at Butler High School.  During his senior cross country season he earned Class AAA Second Team All-State Honors after finishing 23rd at the Kentucky State Cross Country Meet.

Senior Send-off: St. Xavier's Zack Beavin Jonathan Grooms Jun 18, 2012

 

Zack Beavin, graduated from St. Xavier High School after being part of two Class AAA State Cross Country Championship teams.  He ended his senior year as part of the state winning 4x800m Relay team from St. Xavier which also broke the overall Kentucky State Record with a time of 7:52.18.
