Not only was Masterson State Park home to many high school races but was also home to nine middle and elementary races with the highlight of these being six state championships. The younger kids started running later in the afternoon and were divided into many divisions, the first three divisions were middle schools, the second and third were 4th&under and then 6th&under. All of these three divisions were respectively divided three more times into boys, girls, and an open division.

For many years, including this one, the KTCCCA Meet of Champions has been a hallmark meet leading up to states. Once again, this meet turned out to be a great one with thousands of athletes competing in over 18 events. This meet was highlighted by the Middle School State Championships, 6th&Under State Championships, 4th&Under State Championships, along with 8 high school races too.
