The 2018 State Cross Country meet brought its typical drama and nail biters, while also reminding us why the first Saturday in November is a special day in the state of Kentucky. This year's edition featured the end of an incredible run for a three time state champion and a dethroning of a recent power.
The Class of 2019 took home all three individual titles: Keeton Thornsberry in Class A, Colton Bullington in Class AA, and Christian Parker in Class AAA.
The team races left us with three dominant performaces. All three team winners had about half of the points of the second place teams (Holy Cross, Lexington Catholic, and Trinity). Likely the most surprising was Trinity taking down St. X after the Tigers have dominated in years past.
So how did the three classes stack up against each other if our state ran one meet for all of the marbles? Click through the slides for the individual performances ranked and the team scores based off of those performances.
