Athlete: Mitchell Miracle

School: Bell County

What was your most memorable met and why? I would say my most memorable meet is my last regional championship in cross country this year because the weather and the victory just made it that much better. To me that was cross country.

Where did I face my biggest competition? I would have to say at Greater Louisville I've never ran a race like that there were kids from everywhere everyone was running fast.

Out of all your high school accomplishments which stands out the most and why? My region championship my 10th grade year in the 1600.

If you could do it all over again what would you change about your running career in high school? I don't think I would change anything I'm pleased with how my career has went and loved every minute of it.

What were the most difficult obstacle you had to overcome? Just the daily grind having to go at it every day cause some days were good days but others when it just wasn't going for you, you still had to find a way to get it done.

What will you miss the most? Just the bus rides and being with the team and my friends and local teams at meets just being a community within the sport.

Do you have any advice for younger athletes? Yes, just keep working trust the process don't get discouraged if you every get in a slump you can run your best race every race and always run fast.

What are your post-highschool or college plans? Just go to college and pursue a degree in Accounting and maybe run if the right opportunity presents itself.

Who would you like to say thank you to? My parents an my coach and all my supporters along the way of my career.
