Sacred Heart senior Caitlin Carroll has committed to Bellarmine University for next year. She is coming off a 7th place finish at the Class AAA Kentucky State Cross Country Meet in November. She is a 3-time qualifier for the Dream Mile with a 1600m PR of 5:12.52. This past weekend she opened up her senior track campaign with a Runner-Up finish in the One Mile Run at the Wildcat Classic.

Carroll on why she chose Bellarmine:
After visiting Bellarmine, I knew it was the right school for me. The school has both strong academics and athletics, and I believe I will be challenged throughout my 4 years there. Coach Horton and the team were very welcoming, and I look forward to beginning my future there this fall.
