Folsom- First question is, what were you expecting coming into this meet? Have you had any meets leading up to this, or was this the first of the year?
Caldwell- Yeah, we ran a preseason race in Ohio. Centerville Nightlights meet, and I ran 16:01 there, which I was happy with, but again, so close to that 16 minute mark where I’m just like, “that right there is the big boy barrier; that’s where the men are made right there.” I knew coming in that I wanted to do that. This course is a little bit short I think- that’s just from what I hear- but, I thought I could do it here. I went out for it right away; that was my game plan right from the start was to try to go out quick, and hang on. I knew my speed would help me in the end.
Folsom- Okay, you said you were going to go out quick: what did you when the guy from Villa took off, and was leading the pack for a while?
Caldwell- Yeah, me and Eric ...
