XC Season is finally here and it is time to show off one of the key tools KYtrackXC.com will use this fall to preview meets. It is called a "Virtual Meet." Honestly it is one of my favorites things to look at during XC season when it comes to the team picture.
Tuesday night gives us the first big meet of the season with the 5th Annual KY-IN Border Clash in Owensboro. Great meet with many top schools from Kentucky and Indiana in attendance.
First thing we need to make this happen is a complete team list. Guess what KYtrackXC.com has that handy below:

Once the team list is in on the meet page, check out "Create a Virtual Meet." Since 2015 has not started yet, we will click on Last Season as the option.

This will show a virtual meet with only those teams above using times based on last season. The awesome part is that this is all adjustable. Since we all know XC courses are different and using fast times only does not give the exact picture, you can change to AVERAGE TIME. If a runner is hurt, click on the X to the left of their name to remove them. Every time you make a change the Virtual Meet is rescored to show what a potential final team score would be.
