Panthers/Lady Panthers to open XC season on Tue. 9/23/11 at the Indiana Kentucky Border clash hosted by Owensboro HS, on Yellow Creek Park. There will be teams from Ky and Indiana competing in this Event. The meet will be scored two different ways. the top 8 from Ky vs. top 8 from Indiana. Also the meet will be scored the conventional way, top 5 score in the event.

The Daviess county panthers boys and girls cross country squads will be in action on Saturday sept. 4th in Terre Haute Ind. at the highly touted Indiana state preview meet. The meet is held on NCAA chapionship Laverne Gibson cross country course at Wabash valley sports complex. The 2010 cross country season off with flying colors at the 2010 DC 6K relay on Saturday Aug. 28th. Both the boys and girls teams came out on top with victories in their events. On the girls side it was very tightly contested race as the Lady Panthers edged out the ladies from Bowling Green 16 to 17. The Daviess County Panthers and Lady Panthers closed out the 2009 cross country season with a Runner-up finish at KHSAA cross country State Meet. Both teams had excellent seasons this year and were excited with their placing at the State Meet
