VHSL Group 3A
Though the other classifications may have some interesting races, these two races are not interesting because they are going to be close but because of how historically great they could be. In the girls race we are going to see Blacksburg lay it on the field and completely run away with the state title. The only question here is can Loudoun Valley's Ciara Donohue play the spoiler role well enough and win the individual title to break up their perfect score. On the boys side of things Brentsville leads the way in the team battle with Andrew Hunter the state leader at 5K leading the way by a large margin over Gannon Willcutts and the rest of the field. We are truly in for a show here.
