Event Schedule - Schedule of Events
Above is the planned event schedule for the meet. Coaches with Unified teams, we would like to complete the Unified field events before the other field events and the Unified running events begin. We would like to begin
Unified Long Jump at 4:00pm and Unified Shot Put at 4:30pm. If this is problematic for any teams please communicate before entries close on Friday so we can adjust the planned schedule.
Below is some important information about the regional track and field championship. It is very important that coaches read all of this information (including the attachments) as well as all of the KHSAA provided regional information (https://khsaa.org/track/2019/postseasoninstructions.pdf).
Unified Entries should be completed on Milesplit and also using the attached Unified Adapted Entries (Unified Form) paper form. Please bring that paperwork to the meet.
Timeline for entries
Entries are due before 9pm on Friday May 17th, (using Milesplit), four (4) days prior to the regional meet.
o As per the KHSAA, no entries can be submitted after this deadline, and only substitutions made for medical reasons (accompanied by a note from a doctor) can be made after this date as well.
By 9 p.m., Saturday May 18th, three (3) days prior to the regional meet, the Performance Listing will be distributed to all coaches in the region, via the listserve and this email list.
By 9 p.m., Sunday May 19th, two (2) days before the region, all coaches desiring to challenge a particular time shall have notified the regional manager as to the objection, and the regional manager shall thereafter resolve and determine the entry time.

Facility diagram - Map
A picture of the facility with various areas labelled has been attached to this email. Once again, we will create a restricted area in the space adjacent to the track's straightaways. No athletes will be allowed within these areas, and upon entering the areas risk being DQd.
Additional information
- Admission fee: we will be charging $8 for general admission at the gate again this year
- What is and isn't allowed into the facility:
- There are specific areas where teams can put up tents (please see the attached file that shows pictures
of the facility - so that you can see where tents are allowed) - No outside food is allowed into the facility (teams only may carry water coolers into the facility)
- No pets will be allowed inside the venue at all.
- No food inside the track/field area (we will not allow athletes to bring any food inside the fence)
- Only water will be allowed inside the fence (no food, no Gatorade)
