KYtrackXC.com and Christian Academy in Louisville are pleased to announce the KYtrackXC.com 5K Showdown is back for the third year in a row. The event will be held on Friday, March 21st to open the Harry Greschel Invitational at CAL. The night will start at 7:00 PM to allow runners time to drive in. Coaches can enter athletes by emailing Jonathan Grooms at kytrackxc@gmail.com, entry does guarantee acceptance in the event depending on the number entries. Runners should have XC PRs of 17:15 for boys and 21:00 for girls to be considered. This is an official high school event in connection with the Harry Greschel Invitational on March 23rd. Out-of-state runners are welcome as well.
It is not too late to enter the fastest long distance race in the state of Kentucky.

KYtrackXC.com has a busy weekend of meet coverage in process starting last night with big coverage of the KYtrackXC.com 5K Showdown and pictures from the Ryle Friday Night Frenzy. Jonathan Grooms, Tyler Karnes, and Andrew Atkins will be at meets today getting a ton of video action. There will be pictures going up from all the meets from today.
The rarely contested high school 5K on the track was seen run on Friday at Christian Academy in Louisville, Kentucky for the third annual KYtrackXC.com 5K showdown. Quick times were posted across the board with 4 boys running under 15:20 and two girls under 18 minutes.
