Jacob Thomson Interview, Assumption Team Interview, and Race Footage from both Championship Races.

Katie Knight, Amy-Eloise Neale & Ella Donaghu recorded major victories for the girls and Joe Hardy, Patrick Gibson & Matthew Maton scored for the guys this week.  Of course there was plenty of action around the nation.

Once again this week, Bailey Davis & Katherine Receveur of Assumption along with Gabby Karas (Martha Layne Collins) are listed as Honorable Mention on the Girls National Top 25 list.

MileSplit US has released their weekly National Girls Team and Individual Rankings for this week.  

Amy-Eloise Neale was the top story in the Northwest but there was much happening around the nation of note as well.

MileSplit US released its first National Girls Top 25 rankings with the ladies of Assumption High School in Louisville coming in at #10.

Is the Junior Class the greatest class in Kentucky history?  That is tough to say exactly as there as been a whole lot of running over the last 100 years in Kentucky.  But it is proof positive that at this point the junior class is the best over the last eight seasons of track KYtrackXC.com has covered.  Let's look at the chart below as a starting point.  The Class of 2014 blew away the rest of the previous sophomores years with ease on the boys and girls side.

  KYtrackXC.com is pleased to present the 7th Annual KYtrackXC.com Indoor Athletes of the Year based on the 2012 Indoor Track Season.  These awards provide us with a first on the girls side with a whole relay team, a continued winning streak, and a school that continues its domination of an award.

The 3rd Annual Dream Mile will be held Friday night at St. Xavier High School in Louisville.  This still young event has quickly grown into the best mile/1600m race in the state annually with much speculation over who will have the times to be invited to the race.  There will be one race for the boys and girls tonight with the ladies leading off at 8 PM.
