Below is the Top 12 Moments/Races of 2012.  This past year was quite arguably the greatest year in XC/Track history for the state.  Records were set across the board in track and XC. has sorted through some of the moments/races that really set the state on fire in a sense in 2012.


#9 St. Xavier and Assumption Take Down the State 3200m Relay Records

The foursome of Katherine Receveur, Melanie Strothman, Amanda Vokoun, and Caroline McCaslin from Assumption combined together to break the Kentucky State Record with a 9:17.45 for the 3200m Relay.  That time represents the fastest time in Kentucky history regardless of meet.  McCaslin anchored the squad home with a 2:19 to finalize the record.

St. Xavier and Butler battled it out setting running the fastest two times in Kentucky State history in the 3200m Relay.  The foursome of Zack Beavin, Nick Reader, Vincent Stephen, and Thomas Cave rolled with a 7:52.18.  Thomas Cave came across in the anchor position to set the record.
