Below is the Top 12 Moments/Races of 2012. This past year was quite arguably the greatest year in XC/Track history for the state. Records were set across the board in track and XC. KYtrackXC.com has sorted through some of the moments/races that really set the state on fire in a sense in 2012.
#10 Alisha Adair Wins 4 State Titles to lead Western Hills to Class AA Team Title
Western Hills Junior Alisha Adair won the 100m, 200m, & 400m individually and anchored home the 1600m Relay to help lock up the Class AA Team title for the ladies of Western Hills. Adair, a dominant sprinter since middle school took her performances to the next level as she set PRs with a 12.32 in the 100m and 56.53 in the 400m. The 1600m Relay squad (Alisha Adair, Alaina Hall, Anna Curlin, and Harper Jones) also broke the Class AA State Record with a 4:00.62.
