Tretez Kinnaird received his invitation to return to the Brooks PR Invitational held in Seattle, Washington. The Butler High School senior ran in the Elite/Invitation Only Meet last year finishing 8th with a 1:55.49 coming off a injury that had knocked out of all the 2012 Indoor Track season until that meet.
This year he will go into the meet as a favorite in the 800 Meter Run as he is the top returning runner in the nation based on time with a 1:49.31. He committed to Indiana University last week.
Jacob Thomson will be heading west to Seattle for the first time in his career to run at the Brooks PR Invitational as well. He will be competing in the Two Mile/3200m Run. He ran a career best 8:58 twice last season outdoors and is coming off a 5th Place Finish at Foot Locker Nationals earning All-American honors in December.
The Brooks PR Invitational will be held on February 24, 2013.
