These are the top five returning athletes based strictly on time regardless of the speed or toughness of the course. There a couple new schools opening up across the state which will affect the classes. Shelby County is splitting with the addition of Martha Layne Collins High School, each of these schools will be in an already loaded Class AA Region 3 (Note the top girls time in AA.) South Warren High School is opening in Bowling Green which will pull athletes from Greenwood, Warren East, and Warren Central. I believe the majority of the runners will be coming from Greenwood. South Warren will be in Class AA Region 2, while Greenwood has chosen to stay in Class AAA Region 2. (Note #3 in AA) The full list for each class and gender are underneath the top five lists, a subscription is required for these.
