All of the track fans in Kentucky have been very lucky over the last two seasons as we have been observing the greatest era in girls distance history. 2023 and 2024 have given us complete rewrites of the Kentucky distance history books. In the 800m, 1600m, and 3200m we have seen 22 new Top 10 performances out of 30 possible. Think about the pure awesome performances we have all been able to see as Kentucky has stepped up to a new level with talents such as Ciara O'Shea, Jessica Secor, Ella Johnson, Reagan Gilmore, and Tula Fawbush. The best news is that there is so much more to come with returners from these lists such as Caroline Beiting, Addison Moore, Olivia Holbrook, Leah Penick, and Mabel George.
