Murray State University has four commitments to join their Women’s team next year including Sara Davis (Assumption), Bernadette Catron (Eastern), Shelby Jenkins (Meade County), and Courtney Kovach (St. Vincent-St. Mary.)

Davis has been as consistent as you can get for a high school runner helping the ladies of Assumption to two Kentucky State Cross Country Team Championships. At the 2009 Class AAA Kentucky State Cross Country Meet she finished 16th overall. She was named to the KTCCCA All-Senior Team.
Bernadette Catron - Eastern

After taking her junior year off from running Catron came back strong in her senior year. She capped her breakout year finishing 6th overall at the Class AAA Kentucky State Cross Country Meet. She was named to the KTCCCA All-Senior Team.
Shelby Jenkins - Meade County

Jenkins has been a strong middle distance runner over the last four years with a best finish of third in the 800m at the 2008 Kentucky State Track Meet. She has on the 1600m and 3200m Relay teams for Meade County.
