VOTE: KY Boys Performance of the Week (04/06 - 04/12)

KY Boys Performance of the Week (04/06-04/12)

With the rain now subsided, KY track and field can fully get under way. We saw epic performances across a ton of different meets as we make our way towards the Eastern Relays which you can catch live on Milesplit. For now though, let's celebrate what the athletes accomplished this week!

Claude Spillman, St. Xavier

At the Johnny Conn Invitational, Spillman showcased incredible speed running 10.85 in the 100m dash and 21.84 in the 200m. That 100m time is good for #2 in the state and the 200m time is the fastest in the state so far in this young season.

Nick Sanders, St. Xavier

Sanders contested both the 1600m and 3200m events at the 2025 Johnny Conn Invitational. Sanders delivered one of the best 1600m victories in Kentucky this season running 4:17.38, defeating the incredible Oldham County trio (Sean Crady, Kyle Crady, and Matthew Whitlock) who all ran under 4:20. He then doubled back with 9:33.17 3200m with a 4th place finish.

Jackson Gray, Woodford County

Gray delivered another stellar performance this week by vaulting 15 feet 6 inches. He vaulted 16 feet 0 inches 2 weeks ago and continues to prove that was not a fluke.

Who do you think had the Performance of the Week?
