Louisville Collegiate sophomore Roman Sierpina won the a distance double on Sunday taking the titles in the 1500m and 3000m Runs. His Class A winning times of 4:10.67 and 9:05.83 placed him as the 5th and 7th fastest runner of the weekend regardless of class. The 20 points he scored helped Louisville Collegiate secure the KTCCCA Class A Indoor State Team Championship.
Walton Verona junior Jackson Smith took the sprint double winning both the 60m and 200m dashes. Both of his winning times 7.23 and 23.25 now sit as Top 5 Class A times over the last 10 years from the KTCCCA Indoor Championship.
Louisville Collegiate junior Oliver Veliquette had a strong showing on Saturday with an individual win the 400m, winning time of 52.51. He was also on the state winning 4x400m Relay and brought home a third place finish in the 60m Dash 7.39 and fifth place in the Long Jump 18-06.75. His diverse showing helped contribute 22.5 points to the Louisville Collegiate team win.
