Boys Class A State Championships

The boys from St. Henry haven’t fielded a runner that has threatened for the state title this year or last year, but it looks like that won’t make an impact on their chances of winning the state title. The squad is led by Armand Frigo, who may be capable of a top 10 finish, but is by no means a lock for it. The supporting cast is very close to Frigo, though, and that’s what makes the difference. Brendan Dooley is a close #2 for the group, but after that it gets cloudy with Nick Wilson, Ben Bessler, Frank Bruni, Luke Behler, and Zach Haacke all being able to get up on any given day for the squad. At the regional, the squad put seven runners across the line before any other team’s 5th runner and only Villa Madonna got their 4th runner across the line before the Crusaders #7.
