Madisonville North Hopkins recap
This is all second hand information that is unofficial, but here are the highlights I know.
The leaders of the boys race were packed up until the two mark and then Christian County's Sean Hurd left the group behind cruising for the win with a time of 17:20. This marks his second victory this season as he won last week at the Kenwood Classic with a 17:10. Ryan Thurman of Calloway County was second with a 17:45. OWensboro Catholic dominated the team competition with the runners finishing 3rd, 5th, 6th, 7th, and 27th. Grayson County was second overall in the team competition.
Newly formed Muhlenberg County won the girls team title and had the individual winner. I am not sure if it was Lindsey Mathis or Kali Vincent. A 7th grader from Paducah Tilghman was second overall.
