Class AA Boys
Individuals:
I have alluded to the top positions as I see it unfolding in my team preview, but there are some individuals that are competing for the title that are not in the team conversation. This group is led by Steven Ott of Christian Academy of Louisville. Steven has been consistently in the 16:00s all season and has bested many of the top runners in head to head match ups (mostly the Lexington Catholic athletes). The Warren East fellows have not had a matchup against Steven this year, so this is a tough one to call. However, on an even playing field of running the same course, Steven owns the best time this season with a 16:02.44 at Lex Cath Invite versus Jacob England's 16:19.26 at the Franklin County Invitational. So here is how I see it shaking out.
