DURHAM, N.C. - Freshman Michaela Reinhart, a member of the Duke women's cross country team, garnered the first ACC Freshman of the Week honor of her college career, as announced by the conference office Wednesday.
Reinhart made a statement in her college debut at the Bull City Classic, crossing the finish line in second place while clocking a time of 13:47 over the four-kilometer race. The Lexington, Ky., native helped lead the Blue Devils to a first place finish at the meet, finishing ahead of ACC rival Wake Forest.
