Victoria Dotson (Rockcastle County), returning state runner up for 2016 cross country championships, leads the pack for class AA girls. She showed her range in track season while capturing the 800 meter state championship as well as a third place finish in the 1600 meter. With the great Michaela Reinhart (Lexington Catholic) graduated and running for the Duke Blue Devils this year, Victoria can stake her claim to the top spot. It may not be as cut and dry as there is a sizable pack right behind her looking to push the sophomore for her best effort.
