duPont Manual's Mary Grace Pellegrini has signed to compete in college with the University of Michigan. Pellegrini recently finished 2nd in the 5000 Meter Run at Nike Indoor Nationals to earn All-American status. She ran a personal best time of 17:48.
Mary Grace won the 2007 Kentucky State Track AAA 1600 Meter and 3200 Meter Championships. She helped lead her team to the 2006 Kentucky State Cross Country Team Champion. She has been the KYtrackXC.com Indoor Distance Runner of the Year the last two years and also was named the KYtrackXC.com Outdoor Distance Runner of the Year.
