The day showed promise but as the sun went down, so did the temperature. The meet had the ingredients for some great competition, depending on what coaches really wanted to throw out there. With most teams keeping their stars under wraps, or running in events that they either were just trying or just doing, the competition was well worth standing in the cold to see.

Once again the Ballard girls showed their dominance in early season form. Teams across the state better watch out, these girls are fast, deep, and determined.
Boys:
On the boy’s side, Trinity showed their talent and depth in all events, with some of the better runners just taking it easy or running only one event.
