Featured Teams:
SE #2 - Trinity (KY)
In a very common theme throughout the region with fun and more laid back openers, the SE #2 ranked squad from Trinity KY competed in a 6K relay race in which teams split up their squads into two member relays that ran a 3K leg each. Trinity had two of the top four relays with the duo of Brian Hancock and Thomas Noel finishing second for Trinity in a time of 19:29 behind Muhlenberg South's Aaron Poore and Cody Napier (19:21 combined time). The second Trinity duo to cross the line was Bryan Henn and scott Darrow in fourth at 19:42. The next tandem for the second ranked squad in the region did not finish far behind with Greg Biddle and Ethan Short taking seventh in 20:06.
Trinity will get its first big test in its home invite on September 16th against NTN Midwest ranked squads in MW #3 Carmel of Indiana and #5 Lasalle of Ohio. Two weeks later, Trinity will travel to Richmond, Virginia to face many of the region's top squads at the Maymont Festival.
