Athlete Interviews Leading up to LIVE 2018 Eastern Relays

You've had a pretty exciting senior year so far. Tell us about some of the biggest highlights to you personally?

The biggest highlight would be defeating Antonio Norman, who has previously run 37.5 for the 300s in a close race at our meet this past weekend.

Everyone in this part of the country has experienced a pretty nasty spring so far. How has it impacted your training and racing? Any cancelled meets or particularly memorable workouts?

The weather hasn't been good but I still approach every practice and meet with the mindset Of working towards state not just one day.

Tell us what races you'll be running at Eastern Relays? Do you have any specific goals that you'd like to share?

I'll be running the two hurdle events and the 4x2 and 4x4. I'd like to go 14.5 and sub 38 in the two hurdle races. In the relays I'd like to have some dominant splits and run sub 50 in the 4x4 and whatever position I receive the baton I want to put it in a position that's better.

Tell us what you love the most about the Eastern Relays!

I like Eastern Relays because it prepares us for our state meet and we can get good college exposure.
