We aren't going to sugar coat it. Jodi has definitely not received the love from MileStat coverage as she clearly deserves. She is sneaky good... no great.
This past weekend she finally left the confines of the 757 and raced the Albemarle course. Though she faced some good competition down in the 757, this was her first real test as teams start to gear up towards the post-season. She didn't just pass this test, she scored a 100% with her 18:11 clocking.
That 18:11 is the second fastest time ever run at Albemarle and four seconds faster than Emma Wolcott ran the year before. We aren't kidding when we say she can contend for any title in the state. To do that in the pouring rain is unbelievable.
Her next meet will be MileStat and everyone should be excited to see her shatter 18:00 this weekend.
