Alec ran well all season and peaked just when he needed to to place 5th at the 4A State Championships. He is only a sophomore and already run 15:50 this year to rank himself 26th in the state and as the second highest underclassman. He was conference 21's individual champion and the third place runner in the 4A North Region. He also helped lead his team to a Regional team title this year too.
