State Meet Fantasy Draft! Only 15 Spots Remain!

Do you have what it takes to win the first ever MileStat fantasy draft? Are you smarter then MileStat's staff? Do you know the state better then anyone else? Here is your chance to prove it through being a part of the first ever MileStat fantasy draft.

What it is: Just a fun way for our whole community to get excited about all six state meets happening June 6-7!

When: The draft will happen Monday before States. That means we will need all participants in and ready before regionals!

What do you get if you win? A free MileStat T-Shirt and of course a picture of yourself on MileStat for winning and not to mention bragging rights for a full year!

How it will work: First, we have capped the number of participants at 20. Each participant will select five athletes for their team. This will be done in a snake draft format Monday night before states and will take roughly 2-3 hours. That means a total number of 100 different athletes will be selected.

Here is how the scoring will work: If you select an athlete like Felecia Majors then you get all her points she scored at the state meet. Let's say it was 33 points. Those points go to your total and combine with all the other athletes, who ever has the highest total wins. The tricky thing here is that all six state meets are up-for-grabs. That means you really have to know your stuff to chose wisely and pick someone who is going to score significant points for you (this is where being an insider really helps). Also you get their relay points as well! That is to say if you chose Felecia Majors and she ran the second leg for the 4x400 that won then you get ten points for that event too!

It is actually fairly simple and can be a ton of fun! I have done this before for smaller meets but never six different meets at once, it will definitely make you prove that you know your stuff and know some great athletes at each level in the state. But remember this is just for fun, and it is free!
