Below you will find the 800m times from 2013 scored like an XC race with only 4 scorers from each team. This is not exact science here, but it gives a very good idea of what to look out for in the 4x800m Relay this spring. The scoring part of the far side does not help as much as the Total Time line in the middle.

It was their host meet but not their home course, but the Pulaski boys didn’t care, as they won the varsity title at the 41st annual Pulaski County Invitational, held Oct. 12 at Cave Lake in Wayne County. The Ryle Lady Raiders made the long trip south and claimed the girls’ crown.
Recap of the action at the Southern Harrier Classic
Each year in late August, the sleepy town of Wilmore, KY becomes the testing ground for early season XC racing as many teams from Central KY battle head to head to see who put their summer to the best use. It never fails that this race, always run in the afternoon, seems to bring out the last remnant of summer heat and take place in 90+ degree weather. Today was no exception. Coupled with the grueling course behind Asbury University’s athletic complex makes for one tough early season test a runner.

This past weekend was strange, there were a ton of meets but nothing was really huge. There were some quality match-ups but even that was hard to decipher as many schools were missing runners. Fall break is part of it, minor injuries, and just simply being tired from all the racing over the last seven weeks. Here are some of the things that stuck out to me from this past week.

Movers and Shakers of Week 3
The EG Plummer Invitational is named after EG Plummer, one of Kentucky's earliest distance stars. The miler went on to coach at the school as well. This year's version of the meet looks remarkably like the AJ Special from last week.

KYtrackXC.com Power 10 – September 30, 2011 These are the top best teams and individuals in the state of Kentucky regardless of school classification. These are not your typical rankings in the sense because without classes the KY State Meet would have more depth so a team’s 5th place runner in Class AA who normally scores well enough with a 18:00 is suddenly too far back to matter in a one class system. The need for top runner is similar, that is obvious it is just on an exaggerated scale.
A look at the movers and shakers of Week 4. Also a look at the top teams in each class from the most recent rankings.
