The proof is in the results: last year, the competition was blistering, featuring 4 Boys breaking the 15-minute barrier and 12 girls clocking in at 18 minutes or faster.

There will be a limit of 7 runners in the varsity races. Only 1 team entry is permitted in the varsity races. There will be unlimited entries in the PS, ES, MS, FR, and JV races. Elementary/Middle School Coaches can choose if their 6th graders run Elementary or Middle School.
NO Unaffiliated Runners in HS Races as you must be associated with an organization.
Entry Deadline
All entries must be made on Milesplit by August 31st at 11:00 pm. With a meet this size, NO LATE ENTRIES WILL BE ACCEPTED
Fees We want to keep the meet affordable and also reward those schools who get their entry fees in early. Notice the fee difference for teams if the check arrives before August 1

Awards
Team trophies will be awarded to the top 2 teams in each race as well as individual medals to the top 20 finishers. The amount of awards may change depending on the size of the meet. Athletes will be handed a card at the finish line with a time to meet for an award presentation.
Primary and elementary races will receive a much deserved Popsicle when they finish!
Parking
There will be a parking fee of $8 per car if paid in advance. Pre sale tickets here
Parking fees the day of the meet will be $10 per car.
The GoFan parking link will be sent out and attached the week of the meet.
Concessions
Concessions will be available and are organized and ran by the Elizabethtown Sports Park
T-Shirts
Central Kentucky Run for the Gold t-shirts will be sold under the main pavilion.
Finish Line
The finish line, announcers, and music will be provided by Central Kentucky Race Management. They do a tremendous job making this race a fun and exciting event.

Directions to the Elizabethtown Sports ParkElizabethtown is located at the intersection of I-65, the Bluegrass Parkway, and the Western Kentucky Parkway, at exit 94 on I-65.The Entrance to the park is located at 1401 West Park Road. Please note that this is a newer section of West Park Road and MAY NOT show up on all GPS and navigation systems. Here are the driving directions:From I-65 headed South, take exit 94, stay right onto Mulberry/US 62.From I-65 headed North, take exit 94, turn left at the top of the ramp onto Mulberry/US 62.From the Bluegrass Parkway, at the end of the parkway, take I-65 North, stay right onto the Exit 94 ramp, turn left at the top of the ramp onto Mulberry/US 62.Once on Mulberry/US 62: Follow Mulberry/US 62 through downtown, travel approx. 5 miles (you'll pass Police Station and Central Hardin High School)Just past a McDonald's on the right, turn RIGHT onto Ring Road (Hwy 3005)just pass Nolin Recc at he light you will turn on St. John road. ( if you get to the roundabout you have went to far). Approximately .5 miles on the right will be the sports park entrance at the bottom of the hill.
