Bruin Gold Medal Meet in Honor of Frank Newton
Please join us at CHHS for the Gold Medal Meet as we honor the life and legacy of Frank Newton, a longtime KHSAA official who passed away on December 22, 2025. Frank was deeply devoted to Track & Field and proudly served as the referee for our Gold Medal Meet. In recognition of his dedication and the impact he made on our athletes and community, we are naming this year's meet in his honor.
Date: April 3rd 2026
Time: Coaches meeting 5:15, Field 5:45, Running 6:00 p.m. (EST)
Awards: Only 1st Place will receive Medals in each Event (Boys/Girls)
Team Awards: 1st Place Track Team (Boys/Girls
Team Fee per Gender to cover medal cost - $75 per gender
- Gate fee for Spectators - $5 (Exact change appreciated)

We are limiting entries to 8 teams total with a limit of 4 per individual / 2 Relays per school
We have many supportive parents to help with events, but need coaches to help with the Long Jump, High Jump, Shot Put, Discus, Exchange Zones etc.,
