KYtrackXC.com Athletes of the Week: September 9th Jonathan Grooms Sep 9, 2009

  In an effort to honor the top cross country performers from Kentucky, KYtrackXC.com will have a weekly set of Athletes of the Week.  There will be Middle School, High School, and College awardees.  Former Kentucky High School Track and Field athletes currently running in college are eligible for the College award, even if he or she attends a school out-of-state.

Marshall Men and Women Place Third at EKU Invitational Sep 4, 2009

Both Marshall men's and women's cross country teams finished in third place behind the University of Kentucky and Eastern Kentucky in their first meet of the 2009 season at the EKU Invitational.

The Kentucky cross country teams started their seasons off on the right foot, topping Marshall and Eastern Kentucky at the EKU Invitational on the Colonels' wood chip trail in Richmond, Ky., Friday evening.

Eastern Kentucky Hosts Home Cross Country Meet on Friday Sep 4, 2009

RICHMOND, Ky. – The Eastern Kentucky University men’s and women’s cross country teams hosted Kentucky and Marshall at the Colonels’ home meet on Friday at the Wood Chip Trail. Kentucky won both the men’s and women’s races while EKU took second in both.
