The Apple Festival Cross Country Invitational will start at 9:30 am (Eastern Time Zone) on Saturday, September 28th, 2024. Interested teams, please text Coach Brown at 208-206-9345 or email at Elise.brown@casey.kyschools.us
We are going to split the races up because of the increase in participation. We will still have awards for 1st-10th in each division
Location: Casey County Ag Expo Center
Time:
8:00 am - Open 5k (any coaches, parents and community can race. There is a $20 fee that includes a shirt. Please reach out to coach brown for more information.)
8:45 am- 1 mile fun run (open to the community $5 fee)
10:00 am Varsity girls/Boys combine 5000 meters
10:45 am Middle school girls/boys combined 3000 meters
11:30 am k-3 Girls 2,000 meters
11:45 k-3 Boys 2,000 meters
Noon Elementary 4-6 girls 2,000 meters
12:15 Elementary 4-6 boys 2,000 meters
This course is spectator friendly and fairly flat. It is the perfect race to get a Personal Best at.
Entry Fee: $100 per school
Checks can be brought to meet. Gate fee is $5 per non participant. We will have Apple Festival Invitation t-shirts for sale.
Plenty of room for tents. We recommend you bringing one for shade for your athletes.
Small concessions and t-shirts will be available for purchase.
Bring your team and then go to the Apple Festival here in town!
