The 6th annual Casey County Cross Country Festival will be held on the third Saturday of August...August 20th. I have copied and pasted meet information from a previous year. I will update any changes soon. Thank you, Coach Vaughn
We would like to welcome your team to join us the 6th Annual Casey County Cross Country Festival which will be held on our spectator friendly course along Green River. The course is located on school grounds just behind our track and is fast. We will be running relay style cross country races. This should be a great opportunity to build teamwork, run fast for a shorter distance, prepare for the championship races coming in the weeks to follow, and have fun! Each leg of the varsity relay teams will run a 2500 meter loop. Each leg of the elementary relay will run a mile loop. This is a great first race of the season and really help if we get hot weather to run a shorter distance in their first race if the season.

Varsity boys and girls teams (will start at the same time, but scored separately) race will begin at 9:45 am. Varsity Race (All 7th grade and above can participate in the relay)Girls Relay Teams of three runner will cover an accurate 2,500 meters one full loop of the course) $50 per school (unlimited relay teams)Boys Relay Teams of three. Each runner will cover an accurate 2,500 meters (one full loop of the course)$50 per school (unlimited relay teams).
AwardsMedals will be given to each runner in the top three relay teams for girls teams and top three for boys teams on the elementary and varsity levels
Elementary Race Relay Teams of ThreeEach runner will cover a 1 mile loop $30 per school (unlimited relay teams)Boys Relay Teams of three. Each runner will cover an 1 mile loop $30 per male elementary teams and $30 per female elementary team. (unlimited relay)
please noteif we have enough interest, we may add a middle school division this year.
Winning Schools and runner up schools will receive a plaque in each category.
