Meet Information
As many of you heard the Wilderness Invite of 2008 was a pure success. We do not plan to stir from the perks for athletes nor the lowest team fees offered on Oct 24th 2009. The entry fee will be reduced by 50% for any team traveling 100+ miles (as we all know of budget cuts) . We will also help any school that has any other monetary restraints.
The planned rates will be $40.00 for whole team (elem, middle school, jv, varsity) $10.00- per division.
The course will be widened an additional 4 to 5 feet, and will be surveyed and notorized.
We will plan to raise money (gate fee of $2.00) for Breast Cancer Awareness (AS OCTOBER IS BREAST CANCER AWARENESS MONTH)- Thanks to all of you we raised over $400.00 last year.

2009 Wildcat Wilderness Invitational
Our course is very similar to McAlpine Park in NC, where Foot Locker South Regional is held. This course is approximately 1.5 miles of open field and 1.5 miles of wooded trail. Terrain varies from limestone to soft dirt. No need to worry about unmarked roots, which will be absolute minimal. The course boasts truly excellent start and finish areas. This course does not overlap, and I know athletes will enjoy the atmosphere.
TEAMS THAT ATTENDED LAST YEAR - COURSE WILL BE WIDER AND MUCH IMPROVED. ALTHOUGH I DID NOT HEAR OF ANY SIGNIFICANT COMPLAINTS, THE COURSE WILL BE EVEN BETTER...

Directions: From I-65 N or I-65 S take the Exit #6 (KY100 Scottsville/Franklin). If traveling South to Exit 6 you will take a right on KY-100. If traveling North to Exit 6 you will take left on KY-100. Follow 100 to 31w intersection, whereas you will continue to go straight across 31w, passing Rite Aid on right. Take left on South College St, then take a right on Yokley Dr. Go past high school gymnasium, past baseball fields, then you will take a left on Witt Road. Parking at Softball/Soccer fields..
