Meet Information

Shelby County High School Track and Field is pleased to host the 2023 CKC Championships. 

Location: Milestone Academies at Shelby Campus, 1361 Frankfort Rd., Shelbyville, KY

Conference Dues: $150 per school

T-Shirts: T-Shirts will be available for purchase for $15.

When: Field Events and Running Events will begin at 6:00 PM.

Jumps/Throws will be 4 jumps/throws with no finals.

All field event participants will be given 4 jumps or throws and all running events will be run as a final with the fastest entry times running the first heat.  The LJ, TJ, Shot Put, & Discus will have 60 minute open pits for the 4 attempts.
Each team may enter two (2) individuals in each event.  Each team may enter one (1) relay team.  You may substitute an athlete at the line provided a number has been assigned.  Scoring will be 10-8-6-5-4-3-2-1

The following will be the order of field events:

Boys Shot Put followed by Girls

Girls Discus followed by Boys

Girls Long Jump followed by Boys

Boys Triple Jump followed by Girls

Girls High Jump followed by Boys

Boys Pole Vault followed by Girls

Team Meet Assignments are as follows:

Long jump: Danville and Rockcastle County

Triple jump: Madison Southern and Mercer County

High Jump: Burgin and East Jessamine

Pole vault: Woodford and West Jessamine

Shot: Lincoln County and Boyle County

Discus: Bourbon County and Anderson County

Hurdles: Somerset and Garrard County

Exchange zones: Henry Clay

Blocks and runners: Shelby County

Awards:

Top 3 in each event and each relay receive medals

Top 2 Teams receive trophies

Most Outstanding Performance Plaque (Male and Female)

High Point Scorer (Male and Female)

Coach of the Year (Male and Female)
