Meet Information
Harlan County High School proudly extends an invitation to attend the Black Bear Invitational. The course is located on the campus of beautiful Harlan County High School.
The entry deadline is September 28, and entries may be done online via MileSplit:

9:25 am : Boys Elementary 2000m, unlimited entries per team. 30$ team/5$ individual
9:50 am: Mixed Middle School 3000m, unlimited entries per team. 30$team/5$ individual
10:10 am Mixed JV 5000 meters, unlimited entries per team. 30$ team/5$ individual
11:00 am: Girls Varsity, 5000 meters, 7 entries per team. 50$ team/5$ individual
11:55 pm: Boys Varsity 5000m, 7 entries per team. 50$ team/5$ individual

Awards:
Elementary: Medals for 1 -- 20 (boys and girls)
Middle School: Medals for 1 -- 20 (boys and girls)
JV Medals for 1-20 (boys and girls)
Varsity: Medals for 1 -- 25 (boys and girls)
Black Bear Invitational medals are to be given out in the chute, and team awards will be given to winning coaches at the conclusion of the meet.
Medals are customized (as they have been in previous years) so we are limited to the number listed for each event only.

Conveniences:
Concessions will be available at the race. Both food and drinks will be sold. Indoor restrooms are available. All proceeds support HCHS Cross Country.
Parking:
Vehicles will be directed to park at the race site. All spectators will enter through the lower entrance (baseball field entrance) as the course runs by the main entrance. There will be a 5.00 entry fee for spectators. Buses should enter through the lower entrance at the HCHS campus (baseball field gate) for the unloading/loading of athletes. They will be directed on where to park from that point.
Spectators: Spectators must also remain behind the ropes at all times.
