Meet Information
26th Invitational of the South
When: Saturday, March 26, 2022 (all times CST)
Where: The meet will take place on the campus of Marshall County High School in Benton, KY. New rubberized 7 lane track.
Time: 9:30 AM Coaches meeting at finish line/timing tent area.
10:00 AM Field Events and Prelims for the 100 Meters
11:00 AM Running Events starting with 4 x 800 (rolling schedule) followed by the hurdles then finals of the 100.
THERE WILL BE A MINIMUM 30 MINUTE GAP BETWEEN PRELIMS AND THE START OF THE 4 x 800 RELAY. THIS TIME WILL BE CALCULATED AT THE END OF PRELIMS.
Timing: Timing will be done with FinishLynx Automatic Timing. A Time Tech Sprint 8 will be used as backup.
Entries: ***All KENTUCKY schools, please use the ONLINE ENTRY THAT IS AVAILABLE THROUGH THE MILESPLIT WEBSITE. If this does not work for you, Email me and I will send you the online entry instructions. If you can't make it work, contact us and we will work out a way to get your entry done.***
There is a maximum of four events per athlete. You may enter three individuals in all field and running events.
One relay team per school. No unattached athletes will be allowed to participate, all teams must have a coach or sponsor from their school, and all KHSAA rules will be enforced. Scratches must be finalized by Thursday, March 24. NO ADDITIONS WILL BE PERMITTED THE DAY OF THE MEET!

Mike Brame Outstanding Athlete Award presented to a male athlete based on total points, meet records or a combination of both.
Adriane Diamond-Travis Outstanding Athlete Award presented to a female athlete based on total points, meet records, or a combination of both.
Howard S. Reeves Outstanding Distance Runner Award presented to the outstanding distance
runner of the meet based on points, outstanding times, etc.

Miscellaneous: Concessions and t-shirts will be available.
The referee will enforce all rules of the KHSAA specifically regarding uniforms, jewelry and sportsmanlike conduct. The meet will be sanctioned for the border states of Kentucky, to include: Tennessee, Missouri, Illinois, and Indiana. A special state high school sanction has been obtained for schools from Tennessee.
